Last Saturday was an excellent day. While not usually an early riser, I was up early that morning. When I went out to fetch a paper, I noticed that a few neighbours on our street were having yard sales. Aha, a serendipitous moment. Our house is on the corner of two busy streets so there is a fair amount of drive by traffic. I quickly abandoned my plans for the day and set up a few table on our lawn. Some of the tables were for yard sale items and one table was for Norwex products. (I am donating any Norwex profits to Driving by Zebras.) Within two hours, I had made $50.00. Hooray, the first donation for the zebra blog! As an added bonus, I got to meet a great neighbour, Dot. As Dot purchased a few items, I explained about my non-profit. Dot left a few minutes later, but before I knew it, she returned with items to donate to the sale. I was thrilled.
